I chose the Medmont for its ease of use, precision and reliability. The Medmont software makes it easy for me to assess the quality of topography exams and export the data for ortho-k lens manufacture. I chose BIB as they are competitive, offer great service and their price included one to one training with Scotlens. I can now confidently fit orthoK and complex RGP patients with accurate results and low chair time.

I’m so delighted with my Revo FC OCT; I’ve been using it for just over a year now. The Revo FC OCT is quick and easy to use; patients are very impressed with the equipment. The tomograms are high quality; many different scans are available and I use it for biometry measurements for my myopia management patients too. There are other modules e.g. OCT-A available which I intend to add to my offering. The equipment is very good value and I’m pleasantly surprised at how many patients are more than happy to pay for the peace of mind scans give. I would highly recommend the Revo FC OCT support service and user training which is second to none — I can contact the support service and they will dial in and assist in real time while the patient is there if I have an unusual case I want assistance with. Get it, you will not regret it.

The Revo FC130 has become an integral part of our diagnostic armamentarium, and if I were equipping a new clinic today, it would certainly be on my shortlist.

When purchasing an OCT for a second time, I knew which factors I needed to consider. I wanted a unit that would be a tangible upgrade on my previous (Optovue) model in terms of operating speed, resolution, width of scan, scan options and upgradeability. I was also conscious that I wanted a manufacturer and distributor team that would support the unit in the long term rather than making my model obsolete after a couple years as an excuse to cease support. Five years on, the Optopol Revo FC still ticks all the boxes we could need (and more). The training and backup by BIB from day one has been gold standard and my machine is still perfect for my needs in primary care. The continual development of new modules to reflect the changing needs of profession means that my OCT is still the current model I would choose if I was buying one today, as it still offers the flexibility and great value that I look for. I know of multiple colleagues who have the same model and all feel the same way. Next on my list will be a new visual field screener and I know exactly which model I will purchase and where from.

We have been using the REVO FC OCT at our practice since 2020. It has proved to be an invaluable asset to our business. The REVO is excellent value for money compared to other OCTs we have used in the past. Image quality is very clear. It's really easy to use. The REVO is reliable, we have had 5 years of problem free use. The after sales service from BIB has been exceptional, questions and queries are answered promptly and comprehensively. They set you up with great training and full technical support with a full explanation of optional software modules to enhance the OCT experience. REVO was the natural choice when we needed a new OCT for our second practice.

We have been using the Revo FC OCT supplied by BIB for over a year now. It has been a great addition to our advanced eye examination and both our optometrists and patients love it. The REVO is quick and easy to use. Our optical assistants do the scans in pre-screening with ease. The auto and manual functions allow flexibility when required and the versatility of the optional modules make it an incredibly capable machine. The level of detail acquired in the scans is extensive without being overwhelming and although we haven't just yet made full use of all the modules there is always the option to expand on your scope of practice when you feel ready to introduce it. The quality of tomograms are excellent and the option of altering the scan speed is great for media opacities. All that considered, we felt that the REVO FC was great value for the money especially compared to other OCTs on the market. BIB fitted out our first test room about 8 years ago and have just completed a second room. They are great to speak to on the phone and at trade shows when you need advice on equipment. BIB's support service and user training are excellent. We would also recommend making use of their maintenance/annual service plan.
